The Show Choir Mini Fall Auditions 2021 is Now Open!
Red Academy has designed show-choir music curriculum for Kindergarten students (suggested age: 4 - 5 year-olds*) based on American choral-singing education and is now recruiting more cheerful young children to join in the fun! The classes are taught entirely in English and students can explore the music world through singing and dancing to popular hits from cartoon shows and nursery rhymes.
The course curriculum is designed to train students’ dancing, singing, aural, language capabilities and interpersonal skills. Through singing and movement, we hope to inspire young children to become creative and imaginative individuals. Being in the class can also help develop their concentration skills, ability to observe and their physical agility. We also provide opportunities for our students to perform, through which they can develop self confidence and team spirit.

Criteria
Kindergarten Students aged 4 or above
Applicants under Age 4 will NOT be accepted.

Island Campus: Every Saturday 09:45am – 10:45am
Shek Mun Campus: Every Saturday 10:00am – 11:00am

Rehearsal Fee & Audition Fee
$5,480 (Inclusive of $200 audition fee, regular rehearsal from October 2021 to January 2021, potential extra rehearsals for performances.)

APPLICATION METHOD

Complete the application form and choose the Audition date.

Our staff will confirm your application with payment details via Whatsapp upon receipt.
2.
Please prepare the following items on the Audition day.

TWO cheques, one with the amount of rehearsal fee ($5,280), one with the amount of audition & administrative fee ($200), made payable to "Red Academy Company Limited”. At the back of the cheque, please write clearly the applicant’s full English name, class level, preferred class slot and location

A recent passport photo of applicant taken within last 6 months.

Audition Results

Audition results shall be announced within 14 working days after the auditions via Whatsapp.
AUDITIONS

Assigned audition time slots shall be announced 2 working days before the audition date, due to the tight schedule, we regret that requests for changes to audition date and time will not be entertained.

A brief self-introduction made by the candidate (around 1 minute); and

A song of own choice performed with movements by the candidate (around 1 to 2 minute).

English song is mandatory.
NOTES

In case of unsuccessful applicants, a refund of rehearsal fee in the amount of $5,280 will be made by returning the cheque received earlier within 4 weeks after the auditions.

The audition fee is non-refundable once the application is made.

Walk-in candidates for auditions are not accepted.
-
Late comers for auditions will be disqualified and $200 audition fee will be forfeited.

Make-up auditions will not be arranged in case of absence without any prior notification.
